Based on this recipe
I am not a professional baker c:
Prerequisites
- Oven needs to be preheated to 350F.
- 9x13-inch pan or similar size.
Ingredients
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (I leave it out if using salted butter)
Directions
-
If you’re going to want to get the brownies out of the pan, grease it. You can use whatever spray-on thingy, but I use the inside of a butter wrapper.
-
Mix all the ingredients until combined.
- Melt then add the butter after the eggs if you want an easier time pouring!
- I’d recommend you mix everything in small chunks, adding only 1-2 ingredients at a time, waiting until the mixture combined, before continuing on to the next.
- It should be fine (or maybe even better?) to not do this, though!
-
Spread the batter into the pan.
-
Bake in the preheated oven until the top is dry and the edges have started to pull away from the sides of the pan, or about 20-30 minutes.
- The middle should definitely not “slosh” around when you take it out of the oven.
-
Let cool before slicing.
